You have noticed our version numbers. The was the number is
quite common in the Unix world.
x.y.z with
x=major release
y=intermediate. With this, odd numbers are beta code, even
numbers are stable code, for us, 0 us REALLY alpha
z=minor release
An example of this is the Linux kernel. It is on 2.2.10, while
about a weak ago it was 2.2.9. It has a unstable(beta) run on
2.3.x(2.3.5 I think is current)
